>>39081142Well, it might just be me, but I’ve never found a vtuber whose streams I all like, all the time. Even for my oshi, there have been times when I felt the urge to move to another stream because the content didn’t fit my tastes. A big part of it is that unless I’m /here/ or actually on youtube,
I don’t plan out my vtuber viewing time because irl shit always comes first.
So in this case, what I meant is that it’s hard to watch HoloEN because you have to commit by knowing in advance when streams are and putting in effort. I imagine it’s a good strategy from the girl’s side since you’re less likely to leave after ten minutes of mediocrity if you were looking forward to the Friday stream since Sunday or whatever, but I don’t have the time and mental energy to do that. I want to go to /vt/, see if the general is talking about a good stream, and go watch it. Or I want to browse the home page, see that someone I regularly watch is streaming, and go in to see if I like it or not.
Basically, I don’t want to plan or commit or put in effort because this is supposed to be entertainment, not a lifestyle choice. HoloEN makes it much harder to watch them without planning or trying.
