>>39106475You're forgetting that many who join this are failed idols/utaites and the possibility of doing "your own" (more like telling composers/lyricists what you want) original music and concerts with way more freedom that most artists under an idol group or record label, except the few times COVER wants to put you in random group or song, it's a huge bonus.
This also adds to the fact that you're barely expected to do the streaming part of your job despite it being the main part of it. For almost all the holos they can take a few weeks off WHENEVER they want and in fact most takes days off every now and then.
This is an amazing flexibility and you can use it to focus even more in the musical aspect of it.
Also, one of the worst fanbases really? Almost all of them fawning loyal fans that will only praise you, ask you to not overexert yourself, wait happily for you to come back, immortalize you in hundreds of quality fan arts, try to make gifts for you and spend on you absurd amounts of money? Oh god, they're horrible. Sincerely, you have to really fuck up to make them turn against you. /vt/ isn't real life my dude.
You're making it sound like a terrible inconvenience when it's an absolute dream job for almost anyone.
