I guess another issue is the relative simplicity and lack of detail. A bit of light and a bit of shadow that suggest a weirdly-shaped central belly but don't really make a definite statement - there's too huge of an empty area inbetween the (simple, but okay) belly button and Fubu's fubus.
And much like the whole piece I'm not sure about how to feel about looking at this kind of mons pubis and bikini bottom piece from above. The v-lines and the shape of the sides are very nice in themselves, though.
