Obviously not all of them are there for that but even they admit a majority of their community is like this, this was never a secret.
- Women and troons. Gossip is inherently a woman's passtime. "Narratives" are just yellow press; manufactured, explicitly false gossipping.
- Actually mentally deranged people with emotional stake on Ina being 1k subs ahead of Kiara because they hate Kiara in the same way you'd hate a whole political party. They need this, this is their sunday football.
- More than half of this board's users are tourists (probably a lot more, its too new and too niche to be a common main board). They dont care about the state of the board because they spend most of their time somewhere else, namely discord where most of the hololive community is. /vt/ is better understood as a venting box for other, more populated, moderated and not anonymous communities where you cant spend two months saying Gura has breast cancer and not have any consequences. This is also a problem in other boards, but /vt/ is unique in that the people being discussed are online celebrities but they stream for one hour a day and you never see their face. There's simply not enough content to properly discuss so the quality of discussion is way worse.
- /hlg/'s and hololive's proud tradition of being like 20% SEA. Like indians, they simply dont know how to behave online, they're like this everywhere else too.
