/wvt/ is the home of vubers who upload videos with a malicious intent. If you're here, then you've probably seen one or more of them before (and if you haven't yet, then get ready).
These are just some of the most common ones:
The "I'm sorry" Guy. The guy in this video starts out by saying he made a mistake and apologizes to his audience. He goes on to explain how he'll fix everything and apologize again, but then starts off again with making another mistake. This time it's an even bigger one. Again and again until finally he has to say "Sorry. I messed up." Then he comes back at the end to make everyone feel better with his apologies. This is usually followed by a big number of "haha"s from the audience, as though they were laughing at him instead of with him. Sometimes you see a variation on this which involves him getting the wrong ingredients for a recipe and having to start over again.
The "Please click my ads" Guy. Usually uses a cheap webcam, doesn't actually talk to the viewer too often, and has horrible audio. He would have a countdown timer showing how many seconds are left until he asks for clicks, and he might also do something else in those last few seconds. Like show a picture of himself. Or start a slide-show. Or...something. But the point is, he'd ask for clicks after that, and the whole thing ends with him thanking the viewer for clicking on his ad.
The "LOL!" Guy. This guy seems like an idiot and acts like an idiot. His content is mostly stupid things that happened to him in real life, and the audience laughs along with him. Most likely there's no real reason why they laugh; it's just that they're used to seeing people act this way and accept it.
The "Vlog" Guy. This guy looks like he's trying really hard to look cool, and it shows. Usually he's reading off a script that he wrote beforehand, which is basically him talking about whatever came to mind. The camera never leaves his face, and he does not interact with the audience at all. He talks directly to the viewer, and has an opening intro that tells them exactly what's going to happen in the video.
The "Cute Girl" Guy. He only uploads videos of girls, and usually they're very young. He usually adds captions telling the viewer to "like" or "subscribe" to the girl, and sometimes he'll add captions asking the girl to send him a message. He does not interact with the viewer at all, nor does he ever try to address the viewer. The viewer can't help but wonder what happens when they press "like", and since they know it will remain unanswered, they're forced into watching the rest of the video.
The "Troll" Guy. This guy tries to provoke other vtubers into arguments, then gets offended when someone responds to him. He tries to provoke others into fighting with each other, and then gets mad when they don't take the bait. He says things like "If you disagree with me, you're a racist". He argues against things he knows nothing about, like animal rights, feminism, etc., and then starts crying because nobody agrees with him.
The "I'm awesome" Guy. This guy claims to be the best at everything he does, and always tries to prove it. When doing so, he demonstrates his skills in ways that may seem impressive, such as shooting guns and driving cars, but to anyone who knows anything about these things, they're pretty obvious. He has a habit of giving himself special treatment, being nice to people he knows, and acting like everyone around him deserves the abuse he dishes out. He ends every video with "Watch me!" and "Like this video!", and he usually tags his videos with popular keywords, hoping to gain views.
The "Porn" Guy. This guy makes porn videos, and puts them on YouTube. The actual content is completely irrelevant. The whole point is that he has a thumbnail that's clearly not suitable for children, and if you want to see the video itself, then you need to click the link below. He does not speak to the viewer and has poor audio quality.
The "Hilarious" Guy. This guy thinks he's funny, but he isn't. In fact, if you look at his videos, you'll notice he's very repetitive, and he uses the same jokes over and over again. He also does the same voice and expressions in every single video. He usually has a very low opinion of himself, and feels the need to mock everyone else.
There are many more variations, and we all know them well.
