Mori had the EP ready she started for a couple reasons, first of which is nobody knew if HoloEN would last until the next year, second Mori was very much still in DiabloDominoes mode where she was cranking out tracks to try and survive even at the expense of herself.
And most of all look at Gura's numbers. She has double anybody else's subs. That sure looks like she is bringing the Hololive brand viewers and not people who just look at her channel then don't watch anybody else. Now I don't think Gura is sitting on a complete album and asking Ame if she wants to release something first. I do think Gura is taking her time and picking her moment so as not to blindside somebody with a wave of viewers that don't stick around.
