>>39486606>RPG’s really seem like her type of game in general.I absolutely agree and it's both tragic and funny that Nene seems to very much disagree with that because she hates grinding for levels (at least according to her own statements about getting filtered by that in DQ11 on the 3DS).
I really hope she actually goes through with the thought of playing FF9 eventually though. With the fairy tale style it's a better fit for her than the previous urban fantasy ones and the lack of voice acting like in 10 that half of Hololive seems to start FF with would mean we'd get to hear Nene voice acting again.
And I agree with you on that Pokemon turned out to be a significantly better Nene game than I expected even with the prior experience of her SwSh streams and her voice acting there. (maybe SwSh was just lame?)
I think a part of what makes seeing Nene go through various stories so fun is that she has a tendency to focus on and react to very weird things, sometimes ignoring the obvious things to pay attention to. An opposite case would be Subaru (not saying this as a diss to Shuba, mind you), who reacts to everything exactly like the writer would expect you to, you could make her a one-person control group.
