We brought him to the hospital a couple of days ago because his oxygen saturation was on the lower side and even though his values went back up after we increased the oxygen level under the instructions of the family doctor, my uncle insisted to bring him to the hospital, just to make sure.
Once he got there and couple of hours passed, the doctor straight up told us that his lungs are completely non functional, he was critical and he told us to expect the worst. We went to visit him of course and he actually was doing fine, of course they had him hooked him up to machinery, but he was still talking fine. Yesterday he was fine aswell, but a couple of hours ago he texted us saying that he didn't have it so great tonight.
The news about him being basically handed a death sentence basically destroyed my family. He was doing completely fine two weeks ago on his last routine visit, but now he's like that. I don't know what the worst part is, the fact that I try to pinch myself awake in the hope of waking up from this nightmare or seeing my family like this, if I was alone I maybe could handle it better.
