I don't put my happiness on vtubers and don't depend on them, they're cute fun anime women who provide pleasant background noise, some comedy and some fake girlfriend experience.
I wish them all the best and if one of them quits I just hope she does well and I'll just watch another one.
Vtubing will never die, the concept is fundamentally good. As technology improves vtubing will just become easier and more effective too.

Livestreaming may never die but vtubing is more likely. It's losing a lot of viewers and momentum since covid's peak. AI will probably replace them as virtual anime girl entertainers for this niche.

I don't get why people think " a real girl with an avatar" will stop appealing to people.
AI Vtubers might gain a lot of momentum and a huge part of the audience, who knows.
But there will still be an audience for normal vtubers.
