It's insane that as a society we've decided it's kinder to force these people to live 50, 60, 70 years as a fraction of the person they should be instead of just aborting them and sparing them that pain, and the burden on the family.
Obviously it's different if you're diagnosed as an adult with some degenerative disease or are injured in an accident, but it should be law that if you can detect congenital flaws the child must be aborted.
