most idolfags probably still on the edge whether to fully jump in or not, wondering if there will be a male in gen 2, can you imagine 1 male 5 females, a literal harem anime setup, as a fans it would be the worst nightmare for idolfags.
if gen 2 release with a male you can expect decline into irrelevancy within a year and hololive will keep on growing at accelerated rate with nobody to contest them.
