I doubt that sickness could explain the past year. HoloEN had 3 indefinite health breaks (Sana, Ina, and Gura), multiple radio silent breaks, and a graduation. Myth seems to be ankle deep in what ever shit storm is going on behind the scenes while Kiara is attempting to mediate between the talents and management.

Epic7 hasn't done a vtuber collab since they put Kizuna Ai into the game, so this is kind of a bad look.

And sponsors do look out for this kind of thing. They don't do these streams for fun, they're paid streams to promote their game. I haven't heard of anyone who flaked out on a sponsored stream and got contacted back. Why would they when they go to someone more reliable.

Even literal 3 views take those streams seriously with how much money gets paid out. For example with the Nijisanji Nikke collab, they asked directly in a player survey if anyone watched those streams.

The song was done like planned and Kiara did an additional gameplay stream for free. And the song promotion stream wasn’t even canceled since Kronii did it.

No I play Epic7 and I watched the stream vod out of curiosity and it was a shitshow. Easily the worst sponsored stream I've seen for a mobile game. If it wasn't for the title of the vod, you couldn't even tell it was a collab. 3 view Twitch streamers who get paid 5k usd to promote something shitty like Raid Shadow Legends do better.
