>>40311031I've thought about this too, but it's probably because out of the millions of male streamers out there, the ones that rise to the top are because they are legitimately top 1%ers in terms of game skill or charisma. The homo's are neither of those, they're not very entertaining nor good at games, and I can't have a parasocial relationship with them because I'm not a faggot, which is basically the entire model of how the girls side works (although I would consider people like Pekora, Korone, and Miko 1%ers in terms of streaming entertainment).
If a homo debuted that was as funny as Moonmoon or Aris, or as good at a game I was interested in - like the shroud of vtubing or some shit, then maybe I would watch. But if they're just regular guys with an anime avatar slapped on I have no interest.
