>>40339137>>40331096The "hate" is because the time from Council to today has been the longest period of any Hololive branch without a new Gen ever, and that while the branch is still fairly small. On top of that, last month has really shown how thin the EN roster is when there were literally just two or three active members at one point, with everybody else either sick or on break. It's also fairly clear imo that certain members are burned out and would like to take a less active streaming role like Aqua or Marine for example, but with so few HoloEN members that absence is felt very strongly. Most feel like EN3 should have debuted in late summer or in fall, meanwhile it's probably going to be spring at the earliest.
It's hard not to feel like there is blatant favoritism for Stars, and like the EN girls are taking a backseat, even though they are the ones that people actually watch. If StarsEN didn't exist, there would likely be at least one more holoEN Gen already with EN4 scheduled to debut later this year.
