And since they probably planned for EN3 to debut in summer, and since the girls are probably /here/ enough to know what they think, any attempt to rush EN3 would be a sign to the current girls that the corpo is trying to replace them with a new gen of vtubers who aren’t lazy shits.
I don’t know whether debuting two new male gens in a row even though most of their fans only tolerate males at best is a better way to stem the bleeding than to let all of Myth know they’re being replaced and deal with multiple graduations en masse, but neither option sounds great.
I suppose the best move would have been to plan both a StarsEN1 and a HoloEN3 at the same time and leave Tempus to their fate without all this shilling. But that would have cost money and required very long term thinking, which I guess Cover didn’t want to do. And it’s too late now, anyway.
