I talked to HR and some managers, got him an interview based on my recommendation where he worked in the warehouse driving a forklift and moving pallets - not hard stuff but he doesn't have the best work or education history, so this was pretty good. Double the pay of his previous job too with actual benefits. I find out a week later when asking one of the warehouse guys how my brother is doing and they say he hasn't shown up other than the first day. He took all the paid sick time after working half a shift, then just stopped coming in. Brother claims he was told to take the next few days off since they didn't need him - that's a lie we never had that kind of thing since the factory was 24/7 and always busy making medicine.
