>>40375385Kinda, I'm going to explain it on the universal way of explaining things, with a food analogy, just like coca cola can have their diet coke, hololive can have their male branch, a % of the consumers want diet coke but not all of them, but let's say that they bring a new product like, I don't know, onions coke for instance, and they refuse to sell regular coke until onions coke sells the same and call anyone that doesn't like it an incel, would I blame the consumers for ditching coca cola for pepsi? no, I would blame the tranny that gave green light to that idea.
I'm totally ok with a male branch as long as they do their own thing and aren't pushed on my feed and they are far away from my oshi.
>b-but they have to survive!!!I'll be real with you, if they can't survive on their own maybe that's a branch that it's not worth saving, making them cling to the girls's clout is proof that they can't on their own and only makes them look like a bunch of losers which I'm pretty sure that destroys their image even more towards women (which should be their main audience in theory).
I don't remember which holo implied that we (unicorns) don't see them as human beings, and that take is kinda misleading, is not that we see them as scum/pieces of shit, just because they are human beings doesn't mean we have to like them from the start and that's where the confusion is with that take, what have they done to earn our trust? my expectations was "they do their own thing and every once in a while they will collab with only the girls that are open to male collabs (ie Mori, Ollie, etc.)" and that's it, just like JPstars, I could tolerate that, what did they do instead? they collabed with the girls right from the start knowing very well how the predominant male fanbase would feel about it, despite all the hopium about how that wouldn't happen they did it anyways, so there goes the trust that they would earn, and because of that precedent I wouldn't be surprised if there is only bad expectations for this new male wave.
I know Moona, Risu, Ollie, Sora, Suisei, Matsuri, and a bunch of other girls want to see them succeeding but unfortunately this is not the way, you would think that failure after failure they would learn that this was never the way but they still push the same way of promoting the star brand, it blows my mind.
