superchats force them to read it and the stream to read it, thus the joke "MY DOG DIED LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" because you're dog dying has little to nothing to do with the stream and fucks everybody's time up. well technically the joke also includes a general critique of being emotional around holos and trying to make them upset/pity you. but i feel it doesn't need to be said that being emotional isn't the same as dumping your baggage on them. i can say something that might make her cry without being upset, like that she brightens my sister's day or helped me through a dark time or something.
you may think this is slightly off topic but consider that this allows watame the choice to be emotional on stream. instead of being forced to read the superchat she can instead decide to talk about your letter if she wants. i know other holos have done this, talking about emotional fanmail and what not.
