if you market maid cafes to male viewers they'll love it because it appeals to them. if you start marketing male hostclubs to those same male viewers of course the viewers are going to be turned off and dislike it. if you keep pushing by forcing collabs and interaction it'll just antagonize the viewers even more. accept the fact that cover did this to themselves by pushing idol culture so hard on everyone now they have to sleep in the bed they made.
