>>40556948It's a very extreme rule, it affects all 3 regions and the two different agencies.
It also affects all debuts, 3D events and skin debuts.
There are already over 70 talents.
Fans and talents have streams they look forward and schedules they want to follow.
I don't think anyone from the Hololive JP fanbase will bother watching the Tempus debuts.
Effectively they just fucked their streams for no reason.
That's actually bad and quite stupid.
Limiting the streams from the HoloEN might at least lead to some extra views because the Hololive English audience might have some people who would watch Holostars English. They're still within the same region even though they're different types of content.
But no one from HoloEN was streaming anyway. So the rule had 0 positive effect, nothing was actually accomplished by it.
Let me just reiterate this so the point is clear: This rule had 0 positive effects.
A rule that does nothing good and only gets in the way is objectively a bad rule.
They seriously expect people to tune in to content that doesn't appeal to them and hell they might not even be able to understand at all just because their favorite Cover streamer couldn't stream at that time.
It's patronizingly manipulative and outright disrespectful to their viewers to treat them that way.
They should just let it be a voluntary thing. The streamers who expect their audience to be interested in a debut can put their streams on hold if they want to.
There would be nothing wrong with that. I'm sure most of the HoloEN girls would have stopped streaming today for the guys, if they actually streamed.
