>>40592103I've commissioned a live2d artist who has previously worked on a semi-famous (but not corporate) vtuber.
After I get back the model for that I'll commission a semi-famous Live2D rigger.
At the same time as this I'll commission an opening and ending screen for streams.
I bought a good computer, an SM7B, and a GOXLR, but really you can stream on whatever I'm just trying to make my content look semi-professional to make it at least stand out a little.
I'll stream 5 times a week and weekdays will be limited to 2 hours because I work too much to do any more than that.
I'll probably buy twitter followers initially for one of those dumb "100 follows and I reveal my model" things and make a short advertisement for my debut and pay youtube to show that to people too because in the end luck is most important but if you can at least get your name out there that helps a lot too and advertising does that.
I'll then post on
reddit for my debut and then any games I plan to stream because while I hate the site advertsing matters. Then I'll try to make some low quality tiktok memes. Then I'll make a bunch of reaction images with my model and post them every single time I make a post outside of /vt/ generals. Then I'll add my name to that /mvp/ list of male vtubers.
Then I'll shamelessly reach out to every vtuber related to me by having the same rigger or artist and ask if they want to hang out on stream sometime.
Then I'll commission a bunch of artists to do fan art of me (may consider a doujin like Towa did).
Then I'll release a cover of a generic but popular song like Baka Mitai and do my best to shill that and hope the algorithm picks it up.
Then I'll post in the chat of a bunch of small-medium indies and small corpo vtubers with my vtuber account so that their viewers might check me out.
Then I'll probably try to buy some bot subs/followers on youtube and twitch.
Also I'll need to make youtube shorts of my streams so either I can do that myself or pay someone to do it for me, which would probably work out better.
Sadly this is the most likely way to make sure I'll get in and is going to cost me so much time and money.
