People who are old-old now were already middle age when the internet was taking off in the 90s/early 00s, they just don't give a fuck to learn computers I think, or have ideas about computing stuck in like the 70s-80s when they were more likely to be tech savvy. They know and are used to television so will just keep watching that until they die basically. Hell if they're in their 80s they may be too infirm to really focus on using a computer vs just laying in bed watching TV.

Not to mention, like how we see zoomers being incomprehensible over roblox and such, maybe they see the internet overall as some incomprehensible thing for younger people that would just be a waste of time for themselves.

My mom's 60+ now and she's having great fun online chatting with people, raiding in WoW, sharing her hobbies, etc. People older than her most likely haven't realised, but the internet is a blessing for people with reduced mobility. Her gen and younger are coming on to it though.

NTA, but I talk to my middle school cousins a bit, and Roblox is fucking popular.
Most of the kids in her grades play it, and there's been a big surge in content for that demographic.
Also there's money in that market so a bunch of basic bitch programmers are churning out content ripped off of other series for it, and it's getting bigger much to my chagrin.
It's for the 8-12 market, and may branch out to even hgihschoolers.

There's no cutoff. All pastimes asides from those specifically for children are equal in this age.
That besides, vtubers and streamers are probably good content for older folks to engage with. It'll help them feel less lonely, give them some humour and mental stimulus.
