I don't know that that's even possible. Operating costs for a V-Tuber can't be much more than the manager's salary, and there was probably only one or two managers for the entire branch. It's not like they give the talent benefits, or any payment that they don't bring in themselves.

I don't think Cover has completely given up on China but I also don't think they'll expose any branches to Bilibili on purpose, either they make it opt-in for the talents that want to come back to China/want to see if they get an audience there at their own risk or just make a VirtuaReal equivalent of Hololive and the talents are only exposed to Bilibili during collabs

And they made the right choice. Giving Coco the axe would've pissed off not only the western fans, but the Jap fans for kneeling to chinks. This isn't even mentioning the ripple effect of Kanata, suisei and potential FBK leaving.
Still baffles me how any chink thought a company would throw away one of their biggest money makers and a potentially massive market for a branch that was already losing steam. EN being a massive hit is just another affirmation that cover was right for dropping CN.

They have without a doubt completely given up. China won't even show every professional basketball game due to their map schizophrenia. There is literally no chance for Hololive to ever do any business in the country again. The closest they will ever come to China again is selling concert tickets on a Japanese website with Chinese language support, and even then it will probably only be traditional Chinese.
