There are three ways to enjoy vtubers:
1. The content itself
2. Getting attention in chat
3. Fan work
The EOP cannot do #1, because he understands nothing.
So, he must do #2.
But #2 is in opposition with #1, because fan service interrupts the whole show to gratify one fan.
The EOP, in typing inane messages that begin with "I", "me", or "my dog", inevitably ruins the experience for the rest.
It seems that, being an EOP, he has no choice but to be personal.
He NEEDS the attention to stay interested.
In fact, often, it's not even the attention that the EOP necessarily wants.
The one-way interaction is more than enough, as evidenced by the numerous EOPs who always send english chats to a vtuber that can't speak understand english at all.
The EOP is not so helpless as he may seem.
He can just lurk, and let the show go on without him.
Or, better yet, he can pay, and respect the limited amount of attention that the vtuber can give.
EOPs who do neither are ruining vtubers for everyone else.
As an EOP, it is your moral obligation to not reveal yourself unless called upon, or unless you become a paypiggie.
That is all.
