there is literally no good answer because they both suck for different reasons. there's just no better alternative indies are stuck on twitch because it has the better discovery algorithm, established creators can use youtube but it has increasingly retarded content moderation policies, especially recently. and either way you're going to eventually have to deal with stupid children in chat zooming at you to play genshin/apex/flavor of the month shit and trying to start drama over literally nothing. you're fucked in some respect no matter where you go... i really don't like the train of softcore porn creators that've flooded both platforms, but i can't deny anyone trying to filter out the minor tiktok autists before they get cancelled for saying "sex".
