How does Yagoo see anything good from this failure of a fucking branch? This fag was here for almost a year and barely made it to 100,000 subs.
Thats fucking pathetic specially with the COVER boost he gets.
Seriously, there is no gain with Holostars, they are just a fucking money pit for COVER and they need to get rid of this fucking branch asap.

I do music and lemme tell you OP I'd rather have 100 fans who pay for my music than have 100,000 streams on Spotify for good reason. From a business perspective, having a small audience that pays is better than having an army of freeloaders

That rule for debuts and 3D debuts was already kinda there for hololive, they just enforced it and included holostars in it too. I don't see how it's special privileges when it's the same rules for everyone.

Their insane fans buy up fucking everything. I was at AGF and all of their merchandise that wasnt randomized sold out in like two and a half hours. Niche popularity and merch sales has always been the driving force of the Japanese otaku market, and the vtuber industry is no different.

I also just think their much mor competent management is confused for special treatment.

It is kind of working in capturing the brotuber audience that NijiEN failed to get. It's a small audience compared to the main Hologirl watchers, sure, but they'll be an incredibly loyal base that will stay even if NijiEN eventually debuts their own bros-for-bros, who might struggle more in turn.

That is a couple thousand viewers(if so much) in the most irrelevant market while the jp girls can get 50k+ viewers doing normal game streams and en can get easy 5k+. The jp stars are doing even worse. Clown guy is doing the best of the new gen because he is appealing to women, not brotubers.
