This hobby is cringe and gay.
What little bile fascination it stoked in me early on has been replaced with something between contempt and antipathy. Other streamers do 8+ hour streams every day, with more content variety and smaller chats.
Although Aqua fanart is some of the hottest shit I've jacked off to in years, despite me never watching her.

Yes, otherwise I wouldn’t be trying to watch videos about sports and Bronze Age history to get rid of them on my recommendeds. Every vtuber stream I watch is time I could have spent watching anime, and I’m trying to get YouTube to send me down fewer rabbit holes.
So…yeah. I like watching vtubers and I wish I did a lot less. I’m *trying* to watch fewer streams and more clips again.

No, they are some of the least enjoyable streaming content out there, the only thing I enjoy it's following their journey and how they improve.

I only really watch/listen to karaokes and lives. I don't have the patience to watch a girl play a game poorly or talk about nothing. With the exception of the occasional Korone stream when she's playing an old game I have nostalgia for. To that extent I enjoy them.
I come to /vt/ mainly to lurk and laugh at the schitzo posting or seething about the current drama of the hour.
