I think they got all of the good western vtubers already with gura and ame. ina was a hidden gem someone discovered, and I guess they needed a musician so got calli, but they must have had no other good applicants altogether to pick Kiara. no offense to her since she turned out alright, but I feel like gen 2 is going to have bad apples in it.

I've been watching Namirin's vods recently since I think she might have gotten in and she seems fine. I'm pretty sure she's an American living in Japan and is fluent in both languages. Singing is her specialty but she is entertaining and can play games pretty well. Seems like a bright girl too.

Gura is genius and original enough to understand she would amount to nothing if she worked on her math. So instead of covering her faults, she accepts them plainly, and specialises on her talents to the max, which gives her an edge over others.

This gives her an incredible sense-of-self and humility that is what people love most about her, as well as showcasing her actual talents and presenting yourself as a confident and complete, instead of anxious, insecure and unmotivated by failure.
