Always felt all of these things like "S-SHE DIDN'T KNOW" and "SHE WAS FORCED" claims are just cope. She had no problem talking to stars like Astel and showing up during his karaokes and commenting in her first few months being around. Well the current standards of cgdct is not collabing with the opposite gender outside of being forced to whether by the company or sponsorships. Mumei could've just had an out of it like how Kiara did when the Worms collab was going around but still went through with it. You can't even say she was unaware of this when we were 6 JP generations in with many girls already making statements of why either they don't mention Stars or why they don't collab with them. This is why Subaru and Miko can get a pass on this, not because "lol it's fine when JP does it".

It's not even about being anti-male IMO so much as being pro-Hololive and like 95% of the JP girls have never had a Stars collab, and the ones who did had done it like once or twice years back and don't even mention them anymore. JP is the model as they are the real deal and whose fame was so big even in the West that Cover considered an EN branch. Wanting HoloEN to just be NijiEN basically separates wheat from chaff in terms of who actually-respects what really built up the brand and Mumei seems on-board with not being a rebel without a cause like Mori or someone with 0 respect/comprehension of why it matters like Kronii.

What i think you're alluding to is when she was asked why she wanted to be in Hololive she said because she wanted to be in a group of girls, which does show why she rarely collabs with males but doesn't preclude her from acknowledging them on twitter or doing a larger collab once every blue moon.
