At least when I defend vtubers everyone else hates, it’s with the knowledge that no vtuber has ever seen a cent of my money. Even if that changes in the future it’ll be through merch, not superchats, because I don’t care about supporting vtubers financially. They’re free entertainment. I’m doing it purely because it’s my actual opinion and not because I’m trying to convince myself that the thousands of dollars I’ve spent on superchats weren’t a waste of money.
