>>4122117Honestly, I can't fault clips and translations for having a market because not everyone's willing or able to sit through the streams, especially back before the HoloEN debuted. And while live translation is much more of a thing now, it wasn't as prevalent back then. Clipping and translating JP streams required time and effort (except for some MTL'ing faggots), and getting a bit of compensation for that monetarily was acceptable.
With the debuts of HoloEN though came the clipniggers who literally just cut out parts of english streams without further editing, slap on a clickbait title and thumbnail, and call it a day. In worse cases, they edit it to make it seem more inflammatory out of context, or even add a fucking premiere (so they can grab superchats) of an edited clip. Alongside those came the people trying to rile the girls up, or get them to repeat 'clippable' statements for pure monetary gain.
