I can appreciate wanting to keep Hololive a certain way and have a consistent experience that doesn't introduce a lot of noxious elements. One of the nice things about Hololive is that it's kind of got a baseline of expectations across the board that keep unwelcome elements away.
I don't quite agree about vshoujo though. This is just collaborations with non-Hololive vtubers, even if we don't like the "haha piss fart shit cum pussy fuck" style of comedy, it's not something that we should be hardcore gatekeeping because I wouldn't want to foreclose on other collaborations with outside vtubers as well just because they are "not hololive." You have to understand the vtuber industry is growing, even if Hololive is one of the larger agencies, the talents want to interact with people outside their company and branch out, because it's stifling pretending they live in this world where only Hololive exists. I think it should be OK, and if it produces a shitty outcome then it's up to the girls to be picky about whether they do a certain collab or not.
In Kiara's case, I trust her, because I think she has a good grasp of what people like about Hololive, and she's pretty good at setting the tone of her collaborations and controlling how they turn out. I think if you do watch the vshoujo collab you'll probably be surprised how much it just seems like any Kiara collab stream. And this doesn't come from a place of love for vshoujo (I probably find them as obnoxious as you do), but more respect for Kiara when she says "just trust me."
