It's a huge loss really. When I went to Morrowwind I was called an outsider sure but I could appreciate the dark elven way of life. In America it's one giant corporate blob.
Japan would do good to keep its culture, but as someone that isn't Asian and lived in Japan as a child I do wish it wasn't such a pain in the ass integrating.
