I don't even want people to stop feeling that way, part of romantic love is the euphoria of being able to invest in a person who is (hopefully to a similar extent) invested in you. The sense of safety that comes with that lets people side-step the inherent stress of interpersonal risk evaluation and just take the plunge.
But for fucks sake, she spent 3 years with unicorns in her chat. She knows she has plenty of unicorns. Just convey your feelings like a well-meaning person and tank the mild discomfort of that for that moment because it will save all people involved from waaaay more discomfort in the future.
