Women treat "loser" men like shit. Why did Holostars EN succeed where Holostars JP failed? Why is Holostars JP actually inclining a little now? Because ENStars was promoted as equal to the girls from the start while JPStars was a weird side branch with little funding. Women are absolute demons to men who are down on their luck, but as soon as you have something they want they'll be all "Hehe you're so handsome". Where it gets tricky is how a lot of these women are fucking losers themselves so you end up with the weird situation of a fat chick hitting on you because she doesn't realize she's 26 and 26 pounds too heavy instead of 16 and perfect.
Anyway you have to stop thinking a woman will ever feel empathy for a 'loser' male. Suisei is nice to Stars because she's worked with them and recognizes the ones she sees as being close to her in terms of talent/singing ability but if they were bad at that she wouldn't give a rat's ass about promoting them (plus getting males out there helps her move into the mainstream away from 'gross japanese idol nerds').
They simply don't have empathy for you if you're deemed to be a 'loser'. And if you somehow get something they want and become a 'chad' suddenly they act like they were always in love with you. All the worst anime/ntr tropes are just exaggerations of real life.
