Likewise, gratitude is a delusion. You're relieved that you're not in a less pleasant situation you imagine you'd be in without your favorite chuuba. But it doesn't make sense. Everything led up to you finding her. There was no other possibility because everything started the way it did in the very beginning.
God, angels, the Devil, archons, demons, humans, and lesser creatures that have a mind share one thing in common- we all only ever do what we think we should. Whatever weighs the heaviest in the mind gets chosen. No one with a mind can help it.
