There are very few things in Japan that would give tourists strong negative feelings unlike most tourism destinations around the world. Crime is low, the place is clean and convenient, staff is professional, and everything is reasonably affordable. Only negative experience I had from Japan was staff being too rigid with the rules when I made a mistake because of the language issues, but it was understandable.
