When that becomes a detriment, they just pretend it's handmade, which is the real fear artists should have. How can you prove my art was produced with AI? It's just a bunch of pixels. I made it all myself, with my own techniques. How can you tell, after I've told the AI to iterate it through ten different artist styles with varying weights after the initial generation and manually smoothed over the few mistakes that remained with inpainting?
It's happened and is happening in software for over fifty years. You think everyone is magically adhering to GPL, writing code from scratch, and not ripping code from repositiories on Github for their AAA games?
