If you meet people through friends of friends who aren't scumbags they can often care more about you as a person than something retarded you can't change. But you don't know or talk to people, you just "see" them while you work at retail. Hell on the opposite end of the spectrum, I have even seen girls stick with jobless aggressive idiots because they wanted to help them be happy. And no, I know what you are thinking, the guys were short and ugly. And the girl had options. Most people you meet are shallow as fuck. Especialy if your only sample of reference were the popular kids narcissisticly obsessed with makeup or appearances. But in hobbies or through friends of friends you often meet some really cool people. Most girls I spoke to at parties or through friends would easily develop feelings and be happy with average guys. And we're confused by the very notion of heightism.
But I wouldn't know people like this existed if my only impression of people were high school bullies.
