Points are given for the sake of team balance, but 10pts makes it difficult to find competent but low point players, so Astel asked Hal if he could be 9pts but he'll restrict himself to Mad Maggie (who at the time was new and considered non-meta). Hal agreed, but Astel is such a good player he still gave other players a hard time with her drill skill (it embeds into walls and burns people on the other side, so campers are fucked). He tormented every team in the tourney with it and it became a running joke he had no friends.
