The fans don't know that a new gen may be coming and people who may apply if they were reminded "Hey, we're serious about wanting you all to apply, like right now because we're ACTUALLY looking to expand."
They need to ditch the always open application nonsense and instead limit it to once or twice a year of recruiting.
