no they literally aren't... when people say holoEN 3... they are very obviously referring to the larger hololive EN and not the side branch that literally 4 peole watch, holostars is the equivalant of a spin off to hololive... and therefore it can't continue the main line numbering as a spin off, that would make 0 sense, that would be like if final fantasy released a spin off dance game and called it final fantasy 16, that would make no god damn sense

Honestly tho, why would anyone apply for Hololive nowadays with such a terrible track record? they had a stacked as hell first EN gen and did fuck all with them, never capitalized on their fame or their popularity on time and let the hype die.
