The vast majority of people are simply not interested in identity politics
or whatever it's called, and just want to enjoy their video games / movies / shows.
If they aren't interested in those then they'll simply silently skip it, if it's something they want then they'll play / watch it and... that's pretty much it.
This is why Hogwart Legacy is currently the Top Seller game on Steam, regular gamers that aren't mentally sick and terminally online just want to play the funny Harry Potter game.
