IMO, vtubers should never reveal their real bodies but most do it anyway. How many Hololive girls still have not showed their hands/arms? You can bet your ass that members like mori, lapluss, noel, choco and who knows how many others would show their faces just like Kson if their contract allowed it. At the end of the day most vtubers are just streamers with avatars, who only roleplay when it's convenient, and many of them have interests in lifting the veil. Some do it by showing irl activities and/or their bodies and others try to siphon fans to their RM accounts. Kson just said fuck it and does it all on one channel.
If people are gonna bitch about kson, then they should also equally bitch about holo girls and other vtubers who reveal parts of their bodies. Yes, showing hands/arms is not the same as doing face reveal, but it's still immersion breaking.
