>>4253816Good suggestion. I'll probably read it in one go when it's fully finished sometime this year. I only learnt that it updated recently when Eira did her readalong.
>>4253937This is great anon. I love it. I'll play it straight until the end.

>>4253973Based. Thanks anon. I was always more into Elric or Fafhrd & the Grey Mouser but Tower of the Elephant is so enjoyable. A perfect dungeoncrawl.
I might do other Howard-things too. Worms of the Earth is my favorite of his.
Side note here. I really like how the battle with the sorcerer in Tower of the Elephant wasn't drawn out but rather a quick turnaround. A 'Go in with wit and kill'.
I find those more exciting than drawn-out battles, in D&D too. >>4254037H.P. is always a good pick, anon, thank you. I have a lot of love for him. Maybe I can go for some of the stories that aren't read as much but still fantastic.
Here's a paragraph from his To A Dreamer-poem I searched out to share with you:
>For I have likewise gazed in sleep>On things my memory scarce can keep.>And from half-knowing long to spy>Again the scenes before thine eye.>>4254053I should read some more Poe, you're right! A Poe-readalong was actually the first stream I did. I read The Raven (which was great) but Ligeia was kinda all over the place. I didn't like the long-drawn-out musings on gothic architecture I loved the Conqurer Worm poem.
Koragi stopped by that afternoon and said a few words of encouragment. That I really appreciated.
If you read this, thank you againThese are all good ideas. Thank you everyone!
Maybe I'll set it up like this in the coming weeks: Two VN-streams, one for Manga and one for all sorts of things, from literary-fiction to Tails gets Trolled. An anon on /asp/ mentioned 17776 but I have to look further into it before I can decide. We will see.
