As opposed to a non-fictional character? I think the initial gimmick was supposed to be "detective girl surrounded by mythological creatures and discovering their lore and legends with us". So not a myth herself, more like a conduit to pull us into the world of myths.

Not just visibility. A lot of the appeal of Hololive is the genmates and larger world, which allows for shippers, fan artists, etc to go hog wild.

Like the TTRPG series Mori is doing? That kind of kino is near impossible as an indie. Think of how much backstory you know on each of the girls, the fan artists just waiting for opportunities, the hypothetical out of gen collabs, etc.

Well considering they've been building hype for months to put out a minute and a half long video and as far as I know no concrete plans on future products related to holoalt. It is certainly possible hololive grows to the point of getting an anime, I guess, but I'd put money you've got years of waiting for that kind of thing bro. I think like 8 months from now you'll have like a manga or something.
