What defines a vtuber isn't some hard rule, it's a pretty vague term.
There are streamers who don't have any rig at all, they just have some anime art in the corner of their screen they call their oc.
There are streamers like pic related who stream with their real face.
There are streamers who do literally nothing faked up at all and just do their real life but without showing their face.
There are those who don't even stream at all and just post videos or music that happens to have some type of character or persona in them. You could honestly probably go and say Ken Ashcorp or ZONE are vtubers like that with their OCs being front and center all the time, ZONE actually streams stuff too as a mute with ZONE-tan in the corner dropping voice lines he plays
