Something about Luxiem completely broke Noor's brain. I think at this point it really is just throwing shit at the wall until something sticks. The reason their hires are so fucking weird and out there is because they're just experimenting with random stuff. Getting a Rosemi 2.0 or a Vox 2.0 is fine and all but they clearly are testing the waters for other niches to fill. Basically they're trying to discover untapped markets and shit just like they did with Luxiem.

Both of you are right in a way. With Nijisanji going public, investors will constantly want better margins for profits. So they look to what else is around and popular and ask questions that realistically shouldn't be approached.

"Well you can see we have markets A and B covered, but we've yet to make any headway into C"
"Well hire some people from C to target that demographic" and so you end up with the hyper normie ILUNA and the ESL as fuck wave that followed after in a desperate effort to cover two widespread demos. Neither have panned out. Japs already got NijiJP and normies got Twitch and clips.

This is why the most recent audition wave for GAMERS is so e-sports focused. They now want e-sports / tournament tier players, because that iself is another demographic that Niji wants to be apart off to appease metrics that aren't realistic for EN. They want to be the best at EVERYTHING and not refine the things they already are great at. Don't be shocked if we have a "IDOL/SINGERS" wave of girls planned in the summer because fucking Sony has a branch that does it too.

It was half a win since they were able to catch the drip after the Live Fes for the convention ended but it also killed the ones who went first. To this day I still don't remember who debuted first.

Also the problem with Niji talents is that they're not coached on how to behave in a work environment and how to treat coworkers on screen and it shows. They bring all this real life personality baggage onto the screen and didn't care for it, nor did their management until people call them out.

Niji is trying to substantiate to their investors that they are worth investing in. Which is becoming a problem because they keep on regurgitating out Livers with a hail mary pass attitude. If it sticks, hell yeah we win even with just one Liver that makes it.
