Work as a Corp VTuber is a full time job. Whoever thinks their job is solely to stream a couple hours and go to sleep is grossly mistaken.
Cover for example is a japanese company. These companies have longer hours and expect way more from you than western companies. You say 9 to 5? No japanese companies can put you to work 7 to 7 regularly and make you stay awake until 3am for meetings if youre in another time zone. This is the reason sometimes this girls are half dead is preety common in japanese demanding working enviorements. But they ask for it thats the prize of fame.
Also they cant just decide not to stream their managers wouldnt have that they only way they can take a break is by making a request to Cover beforehand and them approving it same as any job. If any of the talents takes a break you can be sure the agency is well aware of the reason and approved it first. Even so the very same agency can request them not to stream to focus on other projects, health issues or even personal matters.
All in all some fans are absurdly unaware about how hard is working as a corp vtuber they belive is all rainbows, fun, easy money and they only life the vtuber have is the one in front of a camera. Is a harsh career not many entitled fans who thinks they know better would be able to work as a corp content creator without losing their minds
