Nah that just happens to most Matsuri run ever, her main weapon launches them to the orbit and since most spawn together with a healer they just get free heals while walking back towards you, it's pretty stupid.

I know Matsuri has a hard time killing the smaller bosses without her special or the help of more weapons
But if you reach point where 3 bosses are on screen at the same time then the it stops being a issue of the character and becomes a skill issue

Funny how getting to gachikoi rank makes me never want to play that character again. Going through all those stages again is so mind numbing…and I literally died on S2N at 16 mins due to falling asleep. kinda wish that the requirement was just the hardest current stage instead

im trying to beat stage 2 hard as Haachama.
i downloaded the game 6 days ago played kiara ~3 times to get the money to gacha Haachama and have been using her since and have G rank 3. i can't get any collabs going because the game wont give me shit, i got broken dreams once and that got me to Nodoka and then i died. HELP

I don’t care about Hololive that much but it is actually pretty great as a game. If you like vampire survivor then you should like Holocure. If you haven’t played vampire survivor then try Holocure instead because it is free.

Ayame anon from yesterday. Did the hotfix from the day before do something to Ayame's regular attacks and not just her Spirit Orbs? I'm melting bosses more with her and generally just outputting more damage with her Katanas. Was her general damage scaling originally borked and got fixed or something?

In the beginning switch to Haachama as she has better offensive capability before you get your build established. Hit enemies and kite them with your poison.
Once you have your Red Heart and other weapons leveled up a bit you can switch back to Haato as she is extremely tanky. The hearts do dang good damage at level 7 because they are rapid, debuff defense, have knock back and are tight enough that enemies rarely slip through. The extra projectile stamp makes this even more effective.
As the other anon pointed out, you should get a screen wide collab (broken dreams or elite cooking are probably her best because of her spider bonus) and then Dragonfire for the boss. If you are worried about aiming at the small Nodoka under pressure of dodging, bonebros can work instead, though you need to play a flat character first to unlock the cutting board item. Bonebros is weaker for targeted damage than dragonfire, especially if you don’t have haste bonuses, but covers more area including your back arc.
If you are still having trouble then you might want to unlock Irys and use her main weapon with the greed stamp to get money for upgrades in the shop, as the game even points out in the stage select you are expected to be buying and using those for harder stages. Doing more Gacha to get the rank to 21 can help too since that gives bonuses and unlocks the Oishi rank if you didn’t have it otherwise, which has even more bonuses.

Does she still have the awkward 1 second minimum delay outside of her special and her main weapon reach that extends outside her Nakirium field if you don’t just attack enemies with it sideways?

The delay and extension outside nakirium field is still there. It might just be me "optimally" using her highest damage sweetspot for bosses (the area where you can theoretically hit a boss with all 4 of her slashes) but that doesn't explain me melting every boss except Nodaka in 1 ult and even than I basically 2 1/2 shotted Nodaka with the ult. Only item damage boosters I had was Face Mask and Atk Stamp.

BL Fujoshi, Stream of Tears, Dragon fire, Frozen Sea, Spider Cooking. Their minimum attack delay is the same as their starting so they can’t go faster unless you get a -cooldown% or +hit rate% enchantment.

Not so good. A better idea might be to add collab combinations for items too, or a mix of weapons and items.
A shop upgrade that increases the odds of super (and maybe triple boxes) might be nice though. Perhaps 5 ranks, each giving +1%. At max ranks you’d have a 10% chance of a super item instead of 5%, so you’d on average see about 1 per run.

They’re just a fun bonus to enable an easy run, they are never really needed.
It is a shame you can get a super version if you already have the base item, means certain items are much rarer to see since you tend to grab them early.

Lowest you can get the base charge rate is about 41 seconds with the shop upgrade + a 5 rank idol costume. Super idol costume cuts it to about 38 seconds.
Pikipikipiman with healing and defense buffs might let you loop it.

Suisei’s base weapon is almost a trap option. It is strong, but very slow and has limited ranged even with the buff it got in 0.5
I think you would’ve done well to get dragon fire up. Outside it just being good for melting bosses, the extremely rapid, low individually damaging projectiles can all crit which will make her block master pour blocks (and flattening) all over the screen.

Ina’s weapon has good coverage and hastes very well. With 4th Wah it hits really hard if you can hit enemies in the sweet spot near the tip, where all 3 of the secondary tentacles will also hit.

I suppose can't ask for much considering her relative popularity, but Kapumin according to Mel already have a form: She told us that Kapumin look basically the same as her Obake-chan pet ghost/familiar. Wow thanks Mel for just slipping that into a stream one day after years of nothing lol

The problem is you have 30 seconds of an FF14 Savage Raid before a bullet hell boss and sparse few enemies to proc Nurse's horse.
Plus doing Halu without KGS is basically asking to die even with Plushie.

For many girls you get so much power from stat bonuses and anvils all focused on the one weapon that solo stamp just ends up a nice bonus, or even entirely unneeded outside of speeding up nodoka since there is no point to over killing the normal enemies. Kusogaki Shackles?
You know those don’t work on the Halu enemy stat bonuses, right? It only nullifies negative item modifiers that apply to your character directly.
I suppose it is a matter of upgrades and Gacha too. Enough bonuses purchased make you very strong, more than enough to handle the Halu bonuses enemies get. Meanwhile the significantly increased enemy number means you’ll get way more xp, stamps and anvils compared to playing without Halu, further widening the gap. Halu is way better than both the credit card and glasses for stage mode because of that.
Doesn’t invalidate Blacksmith’s gear though, since that actually make the anvils more effective in addition to doubling the number of anvil uses you get. Halu + Blacksmith >>> credit card + blacksmith.

Glowstick these days, Snow Sake is incredibly powerful with a unique effect. I’m sure it will be nerfed.
Slow is great but you can get it from Broken Dreams, a better collab.
The only exception to this might be Aki Rosenthal for whom the rapid fire rebuffs from Frozen Sea triggers Muki punches which might be worth it.

IDTYF is a new toy so you can’t be surprised that streamers want to try it out and show it on stream, despite its defects.

Frozen Sea doesn't deal damage, it's purely AoE debuff collab.
Issue is, now that stamps are a thing you can just pick up Polka Stamp (if you're lucky with timing, that is) and it'll fulfill the same role. Frozen Sake actually deals damage on top of providing stop debuff.

Encountered Nodoka for the first time. I can see where the complaints are coming from. A Fubukizilla laser that homes in on you + her zipping across the screen in seconds, makes it hard to dodge. The touhou attack is like a breathing room in comparison.

You need to stay relatively close to her to have a good chance of dodging the laser unless you have loads of speed bonuses, since leverage means that the further away you are the less her aim needs to move to keep you dead in the center of it.

Anon, you are massively overthinking things. The dev just grabs official fan designs and, when those are not available, makes something recognizable. Same thing with Hoshiyomi, and several of the EN's before they had actual fan designs. It's not "forcing" an image on anyone...

I doubt it is that, they just didn’t know. How often does it get mentioned? Has it actually been drawn separately from her personal mascot? Sometimes they had to improvise such as with susei who refused to give her fans a cute mascot despite their demands to be given a vessel or aqua who had said she didn’t want to give them a mascot as she was imaging them as cute high school girls, or some such. With it being rather obscure, they went with what they could. They’ve been known to make corrections, such as when they added bread dogs and investigators and guyryses.

Mass-projectile collabs already spam a lot of them, so do you benefit from haste but not as much as for big-projectile collabs like MiComet and Flattening Board (latter one is especially stupid with high haste value)

Since flatting board is faster but weaker than micomet, micomet actually sees a bigger impact from haste. Interestingly Micomets minimum delay is actually even lower than flattening board (or even elite cooking) but it doesn’t really matter because you’d need absurd haste to reach it (so it is a particularly good weapon for Bae’s special).

She's got health on the lower end of middle-of-the-road with her only defensive skill being one that flips enemies upside down.

Mori is stupidly good because all of her passives are simple yet very effective.
She hits like a truck, get free stats for beating fans and can OHKO. Slap size / bomb / drain / haste stamps on her and base weapon becomes even more retarded.
She's not Mumei / IRyS tier but I'm surprised she only got a slight nerf after all insane buffs she got since 0.4

I thought that at first but then I tested it with Kiara. Same results. Individually each item works as it should but once you combine the two the problems start. Kiara can actually stop and reset the phantom damage by triggering phoenix so the problem is probably actually coming from whatever he did to make the plushie play nice with Kiara's special.

i think the game is seeing the gradual damage from the plushie as "taking hits". i've noticed that as matsuri as long as you have pink health from the plushie the god beam triggers constantly hence why the beams are centered on you.

Actually that explains it, because your taking hits from yourself via the plushie it triggers the breastplates thorn effect.

Now that I can test out the changes, damn, Matsuri is actually fun to use now and it doesn't feel like a struggle anymore. God is ridiculous now and you don't get mobbed to absolute hell from the regular mobs. Semi-reliable damage on normal bosses too as long as you don't swing Ebifrion at their direction.

Redid stage 2 hard. I might actually like using Matsuri more than Fubuki now, though Fubuki still has a much easier time getting through the stage itself.

hope stellar got buffed soon, maybe just me but the +atk cap seems relatively low compared to some other +atk based buffs
either make the cap higher or also give speed/haste on top of it

Note that in the changelog the enemy time stages were updated so enemies would spawn more quickly, which makes it easier to get lower times.
Mumei is probably the best character for the time trials after the "bug" that made aqua so good was patched, as she has Friend that can double her attacks.

Bae can out damage them for a while, but eventually gets overrun, usually fails around 38 minutes which is the furthest of any character I've tested. Korone can tank Yagoo's for several minutes stacking defense, but healing can be a problem. Mel can lifesteal for a few minutes, but her defense eventually falls flat. Gura and Sora can last a few minutes as well, but both took hits to their healing so they can't go too long.

Haven't tried it, but in theory not forever. Eventually Yagoo will scale up enough to one or two-tap you, even through Plush, and if you don't get an Optimism proc on that hit you will still die.

I don't know if my luck is shit or what, but it feels like after I proc the revive, if I get swarmed I just die. It's consistently happened, but I haven't heard of any sort of internal cooldown for getting revive stacks so I guess my luck is just garbage.

Just tried running with Aqua and probably not, it's just more enemies spawn during each minute ticks now so getting maxed tears around the first one is even more important than ever.

I got curious, updated and gave it a go, took me a few tries but it was mostly just RNG farming to get CEO tears as fast as possible.

I finally gave this game a try and it's super fun. My oshi is Gura and her kit is pretty good, but so far my favorite characters are Kiara, Fauna, and Ame. Kiara has insane survivability, Fauna is hilarious when you go full AOE because she just sits in the corner healing herself and melting everything, and Ame is a crit monster who makes any weapons good no matter what. Very fun game
